Visibility begins in the body. Leadership begins in safety.
Most women who find this work are not looking for more information.
They’re looking for relief.
They are capable, responsible, and deeply intuitive women who have learned how to hold everything together for families, businesses, relationships, and communities. From the outside, life may look successful. Inside, something feels heavier than it used to.
This is where my work begins.
I help women return to themselves by working through the body first—restoring nervous-system safety, emotional coherence, and self-trust — so that clarity and leadership can emerge naturally rather than through pressure or force.
Because when the body feels safe, everything changes.

MY WORK
My work sits at the intersection of nervous system regulation, frequency work, emotional integration, and embodied leadership.
I am a certified Biofield Tuning practitioner, currently the only one in Newfoundland and Labrador, and my approach integrates over two decades of experience in movement, wellness, coaching, and leadership development.
But more importantly, this work was not built on theory.
It was built through lived experience.
Through building businesses.
Through burnout and rebuilding.
Through success that didn’t always feel aligned.
Through learning that sensitivity was never the problem, disconnection was.
Today, my work supports women in moving from survival and over-responsibility into coherence, self-trust, and sustainable leadership.
Not by pushing harder.
But by learning how to listen differently.
A DIFFERENT WAY OF LEADING
Most women who find this work are not looking for more information.
They’re looking for relief.
They are capable, responsible, and strong.
They’ve built lives, businesses, families, and identities around being the one who holds everything together.
And at some point, the body begins asking for something different.
My work exists at that turning point.
I help women reconnect with themselves through nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and embodied self-trust — so that leadership, visibility, and decision-making come from coherence rather than pressure.
This work is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to who you were before you learned to override yourself.
MERMAID COVE & EMBODIED WORK
I live and work from Mermaid Cove, my seaside studio in Newfoundland, where the rhythm of the ocean informs everything I teach.
Mermaid Cove was created as a physical expression of this philosophy, a place where women can step out of urgency and into nervous system relief, spaciousness, and reconnection.
Some women come for private sessions.
Some come to stay and rest.
Many come simply because they know something in them is ready to change.
The work is never about fixing you.
It’s about helping your system remember how to settle, so you can hear yourself again.
SHARKIES HOCKEY | LEGACY & LEADERSHIP AT HOME
One of the most important expressions of my work doesn’t happen in a studio.
It happens through Sharkies Hockey, a project I co-created with my son.
What began as a playful idea grew into a community-centred brand that donates medals to youth tournaments and celebrates effort, creativity, and confidence in young athletes, especially kids who might not always be the biggest or fastest on the ice.
For many mothers who find me, this part of my life matters deeply.
Because leadership isn’t something we turn on for business and turn off at home.
It’s something our children feel.
Sharkies represents the same philosophy I teach women:
confidence grows in safe environments.
People thrive when they feel supported, not pressured.
and legacy is built through how we lead the next generation.

MY APPROACH
I work from the understanding that:
-
clarity follows regulation
-
visibility begins in the body
-
self-trust is restored through safety
-
leadership emerges from coherence
Whether someone begins through conversation, private work, or simply listening to an episode of The Tara Kinden Audio Experience, the invitation is always the same:
to come home to themselves and move forward from a grounded, embodied place.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE…
I don’t believe women need to be fixed.
I believe most women are tired of living too far away from themselves.
Everything I teach comes from walking this path personally, learning to stop overriding my body, to listen again, and to lead from a place that feels sustainable and true.
If you’re here, you may already know something in your life is ready to change. You don’t have to force that change.
Sometimes the first step is simply feeling safe enough to begin.
