It’s sneaky thing that Mama guilt and when it rears its ugly head it can knock any tough mama off her game.
So how can we STAND steady?
We all want what is best for our babies and for our families but forgetting to take care of ourselves first is becoming the silent killer.
But shouldn’t the baby be FIRST?
No, because when you’re a mess everything else is a mess. When you’re tired, sad and running on empty you aren’t able to flourish which leaves you with an immense sense of guilt.
You start “SHOULD’ing” all over yourself.
And so the cycle continues. Until you can take care of you and put YOU in a better place things will feel out of whack + unsteady.
Start with YOU.
Think about nourishing your physical body, your mind, your emotions + your spiritual self. When your feeling off ask yourself what do I need RIGHT now? Then doing your best to give it to yourself.
The 2 minute MIRACLE.
Put the babies somewhere safe and secure. Hit the bathroom and just chill for 2 whole minutes. Pull and angel card, call a friend or do whatever you need to do to come back to your centre.
and STOP feeling GUILTY.
No one does it all – ALL OF THE TIME!
